The Benefits

Nourishing

Nourishing skincare focuses on providing a deeply comforting, soothing, and softening experience with richer product formats. Ingredients like oils and ceramides nourish your skin barrier, replenishing essential lipids and hydration to boost resilience and suppleness. These formulas leave your skin feeling nurtured and instantly improve rough texture. Well-nourished skin is less prone to dryness, dehydration, and sensitivity, giving you a more radiant and healthy appearance.

Repairing

Repairing your skin means restoring cells damaged by external factors like UV rays and free radicals, which can harm cell DNA and slow regeneration. Although our cells naturally repair themselves, this ability weakens over time due to ageing and repeated environmental exposure. Active ingredients can boost this natural process, preserving your skin's health, elasticity, and radiance. By supporting skin cell repair, these ingredients combat premature ageing and help maintain a firm, plump, and toned complexion.

Hydrating

Hydration is all about the water content in your skin that keeps it supple and healthy. Humectants, ingredients with water-binding properties, deliver this hydration by attracting water molecules from the atmosphere. For the best results, apply hydrating serums right after a shower. Humectants not only replenish your skin's hydration but also enhance its water retention, creating a long-lasting hydration reservoir. Adding humectants like hyaluronic acid to your routine will restore your skin's healthy glow, minimize fine lines, and provide a plumping effect.

Antioxidant

Antioxidant Protection shields your skin and preserves its youthful glow. It refers to a defence system that protects against harmful molecules and keeps your complexion healthy and radiant. Free radicals, those incredibly reactive molecules, come from everyday sources like sunlight, diet, smoking, and pollution. They attack healthy cells, accelerating skin ageing, causing wrinkles, loss of firmness, pigmentation, and dullness.

Incorporating antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E, into your skincare routine creates a protective shield on your skin. These powerful ingredients neutralise free radicals, preventing them from causing damage. The result is skin that stays youthful, firm, and luminous.

Anti-Ageing (Senescence)

The advancement in anti-ageing skincare now enables us to combat cellular senescence—a state where cells stop dividing but remain metabolically active, continuing processes like protein synthesis. This means that while these cells no longer contribute to tissue renewal, they still engage in metabolic activities, producing proteins and other molecules that can affect the surrounding tissue. Skin senescence is triggered by factors such as stress, poor diet, lack of sleep, DNA damage, inflammation, and genetic predisposition. Over time, the accumulation of these senescent cells accelerates ageing by secreting harmful compounds that cause inflammation and damage surrounding tissues and cells. Innovative technologies in anti-ageing skincare can now target cellular senescence using advanced actives to inhibit senescence-associated markers and promote cell regeneration. By regenerating skin cells, these products reduce visible signs of ageing, such as wrinkles, sagging, and discoloration, while enhancing skin resilience and overall health.

Anti-Wrinkle

Anti-wrinkle products work to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles by boosting collagen and elastin, essential proteins that keep your skin glowing. Collagen helps reduce wrinkle depth, while elastin shortens their length. Keeping your skin hydrated is crucial, as dehydration can make wrinkles more noticeable. For smooth, bouncy skin, ensure you stay well-hydrated and use products that promote collagen and elastin production.

Plumping

Skin plumping involves using active ingredients to boost the production of key structural components like collagen, the dermal-epidermal junction, and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), giving your skin more volume and density. Collagen provides structural support and firmness, while the dermal-epidermal junction, a thin connective layer, ensures smooth, wrinkle-free skin by facilitating cell communication. GAGs, like hyaluronic acid, keep your skin hydrated and plump from within. By stimulating these components, active ingredients help restore your skin's plumpness and radiance.

Active Ingredients

Shea Butter

Shea Butter is renowned for its deeply nourishing benefits. It helps to repair and strengthen a weakened skin barrier while enhancing water retention. It quickly replenishes and restores dry, dehydrated and fragile skins.

Complex made from Prickly Pear Cactus extract and Jojoba oil

This complex is formulated with Prickly Pear Cactus and Jojoba oil extracts, two plants known for their ability to survive and thrive in harsh environmental conditions. When applied to the skin, these extracts enhance cellular protection against environmental stressors such as sun exposure, temperature changes, pollution, and aesthetic procedures. By aiding cells in adapting to unfavourable conditions, the Complex protects against premature ageing and accelerates the skin repair processes.

Cranberry Seed Oil

Cranberry Seed Oil is rich in Vitamins C & E and essential fatty acids. All of which support a healthy skin barrier function and improve the skin healing processes. Additionally, it helps to enhance the hydration retention in the skin by preventing Trans epidermal Water Loss (TEWL), which is the loss of moisture through the skin.

Walnut Extract

Walnut Extract counteracts skin ageing by stimulating fibroblast activity and inhibiting elastase. Meaning that it prevents the natural elastin in our skin from degrading, promoting a more elastic and smoother skin, whilst reducing fine lines & wrinkles and promoting a more toned skin. This ingredient also has powerful antioxidant properties which prevents cells from oxidative stress.

Complex of Hyaluronic Acid & Rhizobium

The "Complex of Hyaluronic Acid & Rhizobium" contains a high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid which is designed to remain on the surface of the skin, and forms a barrier to reduce Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL). Whilst, the Rhizobium gel acts like a water reservoir, retaining all the hydration they have accumulated. The result is a newly formed water barrier, which is supple, flexible and non-comedogenic (does not clog pores).

Cotton Oil

Cotton Oil is extracted from cotton seeds. Naturally rich in Omega 6 & 9, two essential Fatty Acids that limit Trans epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) and strengthen the skin barrier. Cotton Oil is naturally rich in Vitamin E whose antioxidant properties protect cells from external damage and premature ageing.

Moisturising Plant Sugars

The Moisturising Plant Sugar Complex combines Xylitol and Glucose, working synergistically to enhance the synthesis of Glycosaminoglycans like Hyaluronic Acid in the skin's deeper layers, forming a water reservoir. Moreover, it aids in preventing Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL), thereby improving water retention in the skin's upper layers.

Glycoprotein of the Antarctic Microorganisms

This Glycoprotein is made by microorganisms living in the harsh conditions of Antarctic glaciers. It prevents skin from drying, boosts collagen and elastin production, and helps keep the skin smooth and resilient. It reduces wrinkle depth and maintains the skin's integrity.

Targeting Dry & Keratinised Skin

Dry and keratinised skin is a common condition where the skin becomes rough, flaky, and thickened due to an excessive build-up of dead skin cells. This can lead to discomfort, itching, and a dull, uneven appearance, making a tailored skincare routine essential to bring relief and restore your skin’s natural glow. Dry and keratinised skin is often caused by a lack of moisture, environmental stress, ageing, and skin conditions like eczema. These factors can weaken the skin’s natural barrier, leading to increased roughness and a loss of that soft, supple feeling we all strive for. When the skin’s moisture levels are low, dead skin cells build up on the surface, creating a thick, rough texture. Cold weather, low humidity, and harsh skincare products can exacerbate dryness, while ageing naturally slows down the process of shedding old skin cells. Conditions such as eczema further disrupt the skin barrier, intensifying the feeling of dryness and discomfort. The key to managing this condition lies in replenishing lost moisture and gently exfoliating to remove dead cells. Hydration helps to soothe and plump the skin, while exfoliation reveals a smoother, healthier surface. Combined, these steps help restore the skin’s natural barrier and improve overall texture. Taking care of dry and keratinised skin means embracing a routine of consistent hydration and gentle exfoliation. Many people find that with regular care, their skin becomes noticeably more comfortable, less rough, and beautifully brighter. The right products work to soothe, soften, and repair, giving you back that smooth, resilient skin you deserve. Caring for dry and keratinised skin is about more than just addressing a condition—it’s about nurturing your skin back to its best self. By combining hydration and exfoliation, you can transform your skin, soothing discomfort and boosting your confidence. With the right care, your skin will feel softer, smoother, and visibly healthier. Embrace a dedicated skincare routine that meets your unique needs and enjoy the comfort and resilience of skin that looks and feels revitalised.
