Luxury skincare backed by what we see deliver results in our Kensington treatment rooms. The range is built around houses like Biologique Recherche, Auteur,Venn and more — formulations chosen for their active concentration, ingredient integrity and the results they deliver on real skin. From the first cleanse through to sun protection, every step of a considered routine is covered, with products suited to all skin types and concerns. Whether you are building a routine from scratch or refining one that already works, the range is designed to meet your skin where it is — not where a marketing claim says it should be.
Start with your primary concern — whether that is acne, dehydration, sensitivity, visible ageing or uneven tone — and choose a targeted treatment that addresses it. Build the rest of your routine around products that support that treatment without conflicting with it. Every product page on our site includes a "Who it is for" section that tells you which skin types and concerns the product suits and, just as importantly, which it is not suited for — so you can filter as you browse. If you would prefer a personalised recommendation, consult an expert and our team will guide you to the right products for your skin.
Apply from thinnest to thickest consistency. Start with a cleanser, follow with a toner or exfoliating lotion, then layer serums and treatment concentrates. Finish with a cream, and apply sunscreen as the final step during the day. This sequence allows each formula to absorb properly before the next is applied.
A well-built routine does not need to be long. At minimum, a cleanser, a treatment step such as a serum or exfoliating toner, and a cream with SPF during the day will cover the essentials. Additional products — masks, eye care, facial oils — are worth adding once the foundation is consistent, based on what your skin needs rather than a fixed number of steps.
Yes. A morning routine should focus on protection — lightweight hydration, antioxidants and sunscreen to defend against UV and environmental exposure throughout the day. An evening routine is for repair and treatment — this is when stronger actives like retinoids and exfoliating acids work best, supported by richer creams or oils that help the skin recover overnight.
Some combinations work well together — niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, for example, or vitamin C and SPF. Others require more care: retinoids and direct acids used in the same step can cause irritation. The safest approach is to alternate actives between morning and evening rather than layering everything at once, and to introduce new actives one at a time.
There is no fixed schedule. A routine that works well does not need changing for its own sake — skin does not become "immune" to products over time. What does change is your skin itself: seasonal shifts, hormonal fluctuations, stress or ageing may mean a product that worked six months ago no longer fits. Reassess when your skin's behaviour changes, not on a calendar.
