The Benefits

Physical Exfoliation

Physical or manual exfoliation uses scrubbing agents like granules to gently loosen and remove accumulated dead skin cells and debris. As these dead cells are buffed away, your skin feels softer, smoother, and more radiant. Physical exfoliants offer fast and visible results after just one use, with even more noticeable improvements with regular use. This type of exfoliation is perfect for those with flaky, thickened, and congested skin.

Brightening

Brightening your skin means restoring its natural glow. One of the best ways to do this is through exfoliation. By exfoliating, you promote faster skin cell turnover, replacing old, damaged cells with fresh, radiant ones. This keeps your skin looking vibrant and healthy.

Antioxidant

Antioxidant Protection shields your skin and preserves its youthful glow. It refers to a defence system that protects against harmful molecules and keeps your complexion healthy and radiant. Free radicals, those incredibly reactive molecules, come from everyday sources like sunlight, diet, smoking, and pollution. They attack healthy cells, accelerating skin ageing, causing wrinkles, loss of firmness, pigmentation, and dullness.

Incorporating antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E, into your skincare routine creates a protective shield on your skin. These powerful ingredients neutralise free radicals, preventing them from causing damage. The result is skin that stays youthful, firm, and luminous.

Anti-Wrinkle

Anti-wrinkle products work to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles by boosting collagen and elastin, essential proteins that keep your skin glowing. Collagen helps reduce wrinkle depth, while elastin shortens their length. Keeping your skin hydrated is crucial, as dehydration can make wrinkles more noticeable. For smooth, bouncy skin, ensure you stay well-hydrated and use products that promote collagen and elastin production.

Firming

Skin firming focuses on boosting your skin's elasticity and tightness to reduce sagging and wrinkles, leaving your skin looking firmer. This is done by stimulating fibroblasts to produce more elastin, the protein that helps your skin stretch and bounce back. To keep your skin firm longer, antioxidants protect these elastin fibres from free radical damage, which can cause early breakdown. This combined action helps maintain a youthful, resilient complexion.

Plumping

Skin plumping involves using active ingredients to boost the production of key structural components like collagen, the dermal-epidermal junction, and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), giving your skin more volume and density. Collagen provides structural support and firmness, while the dermal-epidermal junction, a thin connective layer, ensures smooth, wrinkle-free skin by facilitating cell communication. GAGs, like hyaluronic acid, keep your skin hydrated and plump from within. By stimulating these components, active ingredients help restore your skin's plumpness and radiance.

Anti-Pigmentation

Dealing with pigmentation means targeting melanin overproduction to reduce dark spots and prevent new ones. Melanin production can be triggered by UV exposure, pollution, hormonal changes (like during pregnancy), and inflammation (from acne or cuts). This excess pigment is then transferred to surrounding cells in epidermis called keratinocytes, which then moves to the skin's surface, causing visible dark spots.

To treat hyperpigmentation, a personalised and consistent approach is needed. Our anti-pigmentation products include lightening agents to block tyrosinase (the enzyme that creates melanin), antioxidants to fight free radicals, and ingredients to speed up skin cell turnover, removing pigmented cells. Using broad-spectrum sun protection is crucial to prevent new pigmentation during treatment.

Chemical Exfoliation

Chemical exfoliation uses acids to dissolve the "glue" holding dead skin cells together, promoting skin cell turnover and replacing old cells with new, healthy ones. Acids like AHAs, BHAs, and PHAs not only help shed skin but also offer benefits like brightening, clarifying, and anti-ageing, depending on the type used.

Active Ingredients

Gluconolactone

Gluconolactone is a type of Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA), known for its larger molecular size compared to AHAs and BHAs. This characteristic enables it to penetrate the skin more gently, making it suitable for sensitive skin types. PHAs like Gluconolactone offer dual benefits: they exfoliate while also serving as humectants and antioxidants. Humectants are substances that attract and retain moisture from the environment or deeper layers of the skin, helping to hydrate the skin effectively. This moisturising effect, coupled with its antioxidant properties, helps improve skin hydration, protect against free radicals, and promote a brighter, clearer, and more youthful skin appearance.

Apricot Seed Powder

Apricot Seed Powder, is derived from the kernels of Apricots. This finely ground powder provides gentle physical exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and improve dry, rough or congested skin.

Aloe Leaf Juice

Aloe Leaf Juice has a long history of use for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and moisturising effects on the skin. Its versatility makes it suitable for all skin types, especially beneficial for dehydrated, weakened, and sensitive skin.

Quadruple AHA Complex

The Quadruple AHA Complex blends Tartaric, Malic, Mandelic, and Citric acids for their potent brightening and rejuvenating effects. These acids are part of the Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA) group, which are water-soluble chemical exfoliants. They work by breaking down the bonds between dead skin cells, encourageing their removal and uncovering smoother, softer, and brighter skin beneath. AHAs also have the ability to penetrate deeply into the skin, stimulating collagen production, reducing pigmentation, and promoting skin renewal for a more youthful appearance.

Upcycled Red Grape Skin

Upcycled Red Grape Skin boasts potent antioxidant properties. In nature, grape skins shield grapes from UV exposure, pathogens, environmental pollution, and adverse weather. In skincare, this extract similarly protects against cellular ageing and collagen degradation helping to preserve a firmer and more plump skin.

Upcycled Wheat Bran

Upcycled Wheat Bran has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, helping to soothe the skin while shielding it against environmental factors. Upcycled Wheat Bran also helps to improve skin elasticity and diminish wrinkles.

Targeting Dry & Keratinised Skin

Dry and keratinised skin is a common condition where the skin becomes rough, flaky, and thickened due to an excessive build-up of dead skin cells. This can lead to discomfort, itching, and a dull, uneven appearance, making a tailored skincare routine essential to bring relief and restore your skin’s natural glow. Dry and keratinised skin is often caused by a lack of moisture, environmental stress, ageing, and skin conditions like eczema. These factors can weaken the skin’s natural barrier, leading to increased roughness and a loss of that soft, supple feeling we all strive for. When the skin’s moisture levels are low, dead skin cells build up on the surface, creating a thick, rough texture. Cold weather, low humidity, and harsh skincare products can exacerbate dryness, while ageing naturally slows down the process of shedding old skin cells. Conditions such as eczema further disrupt the skin barrier, intensifying the feeling of dryness and discomfort. The key to managing this condition lies in replenishing lost moisture and gently exfoliating to remove dead cells. Hydration helps to soothe and plump the skin, while exfoliation reveals a smoother, healthier surface. Combined, these steps help restore the skin’s natural barrier and improve overall texture. Taking care of dry and keratinised skin means embracing a routine of consistent hydration and gentle exfoliation. Many people find that with regular care, their skin becomes noticeably more comfortable, less rough, and beautifully brighter. The right products work to soothe, soften, and repair, giving you back that smooth, resilient skin you deserve. Caring for dry and keratinised skin is about more than just addressing a condition—it’s about nurturing your skin back to its best self. By combining hydration and exfoliation, you can transform your skin, soothing discomfort and boosting your confidence. With the right care, your skin will feel softer, smoother, and visibly healthier. Embrace a dedicated skincare routine that meets your unique needs and enjoy the comfort and resilience of skin that looks and feels revitalised.
