How to apply
Mix a few drops of Summer Dew with your usual body lotion, serum, cream, or oil in the palm of your hand. Apply 4-6 drops per body area on clean, dry skin and spread evenly. The colour will start to develop within 2-4 hours and deepen gradually. Repeat daily for a stronger effect, adjusting the dosage as needed based on your skin tone.

Tan-enhancing products are formulated to deepen and prolong a bronzed appearance through the controlled use of Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a sugar-derived compound that initiates the Maillard reaction on the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the skin). DHA binds with free amino acids and peptides in keratin, leading to the formation of melanoidin pigments that visually mimic a natural tan.

To optimise tone and longevity, these formulas often include humectants (like glycerin or hyaluronic acid) to maintain hydration, antioxidants to prevent oxidative degradation of the tan, and barrier-supportive actives to reduce patchiness and uneven fade. When properly balanced, DHA-based enhancers offer a controlled, photodamage-free alternative to tanning, delivering a uniform, golden-brown hue while supporting skin integrity and radiance.

Hydrating

Hydration is a fundamental part of healthy skincare, focusing on maintaining and restoring the skin’s water content. Well-hydrated skin appears plump, smooth and radiant, while dehydration can lead to dullness, tightness, fine lines and increased sensitivity.
Hydrating the skin can work through a fascinating mix of ingredients with different roles. Humectants like hyaluronic acid and glycerin act like water magnets, pulling water into the skin to instantly plump and smooth, while Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMFs)—such as urea, amino acids and sodium PCA—mimic the skin’s own hydration system, helping it hold onto water and stay balanced from within.

Anti-Wrinkle
