Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid or Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, forms a three-dimensional mesh-like structure on the skin's surface. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid also has wrinkle-filling and skin-softening effect.

High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid has a larger molecular size (>1000kDA), which tends to sit at the top layer of the skin, providing surface hydration and improving water retention. It acts as a potent humectant, drawing hydration from the environment into the skin, which helps to plump and smooth the skin's surface texture.
