How to apply
Clean and dry skin. Open the pouch, fold the pre-soaked lyocell mask out flat and remove protective polyester film. Apply to skin. Use fingertips to smooth out the mask so that it sticks perfectly and leave on for 20 minutes. Remove and dispose of the mask, then massage using circular motions until the excess product is absorbed.

Anti-Pigmentation

Dealing with pigmentation means targeting melanin overproduction to reduce dark spots and prevent new ones. Melanin production can be triggered by UV exposure, pollution, hormonal changes (like during pregnancy), and inflammation (from acne or cuts). This excess pigment is then transferred to surrounding cells in epidermis called keratinocytes, which then moves to the skin's surface, causing visible dark spots.

To treat hyperpigmentation, a personalised and consistent approach is needed. Our anti-pigmentation products include lightening agents to block tyrosinase (the enzyme that creates melanin), antioxidants to fight free radicals, and ingredients to speed up skin cell turnover, removing pigmented cells. Using broad-spectrum sun protection is crucial to prevent new pigmentation during treatment.

Brightening (Energising)

Brightening skincare involves using active ingredients to boost your blood circulation, detoxification and cellular energy. Improved blood circulation brings more essential nutrients and oxygen to your skin, while detoxification helps eliminate cell waste and impurities that can make your skin look dull. Certain active ingredients also enhance your skin's metabolism and regeneration. These combined actions restore your skin's vitality and radiant appearance, giving you a fresh, energised complexion.

Plumping

Plumping involves using active ingredients to boost the production of key structural components like collagen, the dermal-epidermal junction and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), giving your skin more volume and density. Collagen provides structural support and firmness, while the dermal-epidermal junction, a thin connective layer, ensures smooth, wrinkle-free skin by facilitating cell communication. GAGs, like hyaluronic acid, keep your skin hydrated and plump from within. By stimulating these components, active ingredients help restore your skin's plumpness and radiance.

Antioxidant

Antioxidant skincare is dedicated to protecting the skin against oxidative stress—one of the primary drivers of premature ageing and cellular damage—while preserving overall skin integrity and vitality. These formulations rely on potent molecules such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and polyphenols, which neutralize free radicals generated by UV exposure and environmental aggressors before they can compromise cellular structures like lipids, proteins, and DNA. Beyond defence, many antioxidants also support repair processes and enhance collagen stability, contributing to improved firmness, brightness and resilience. Physical Exfoliation

Physical exfoliation focuses on manually removing dead skin cells and surface buildup to instantly smooth and refine the skin. Using fine particles or textured tools, it works to lift away dulling debris, excess oil, and impurities that can contribute to rough texture and clogged pores. This process not only clears the skin’s surface but also helps to decongest pores, allowing them to appear smaller and more refined. By promoting a smoother, more even skin texture and enhancing the effectiveness of subsequent products, physical exfoliation leaves the complexion looking brighter, clearer, and more polished.

Dulse is a seaweed rich in Xylan's & Galactans, which work to reduce melanogenesis (pigmentation) by reducing the speed at which it can reproduce. The result is that it reduces photo induced pigmentation, creating a brighter complexion, a more even skin tone where age spots are diminished.

Complex of Pea Extract & Sucrose Dilaurate

The Complex of Pea Extract & Sucrose Dilaurate prevents dark marks by inhibiting the expression of PMEL-17 gene, which is involved in melanin (pigment) creation, resulting in a more unified and radiant complexion.

Stabilised Vitamin C

Stabilised vitamin C is a chemically modified derivative of Vitamin C engineered to maintain potency and resist oxidation caused by exposure to light, heat, and oxygen, offering enhanced stability and controlled release into the skin. Once absorbed, they function as potent antioxidants, neutralising free radicals generated by UV radiation and pollution to prevent oxidative stress and premature cellular ageing. Stabilised vitamin C also inhibits tyrosinase activity, reducing melanin synthesis and promoting a more even, luminous skin tone. Additionally, it stimulates collagen synthesis by supporting fibroblast activity, improving skin firmness and elasticity over time. Because of their lower irritation potential and greater formulation stability, these forms are accepted by most skin types; including sensitive, acne-prone, or reactive skin.

Australian Finger Lime

Finger Lime Extract is naturally rich in Alpha Hydroxy Acids who's role is to exfoliate the superficial layers of the epidermis, resulting in a softer, brighter and more even complexion. This ingredient also contains vitamins, amino acids, minerals and antioxidants, which all work in conjunction with each other to support the natural health of the skin.

Understanding Acne Scarring & Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH)

Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is a common skin condition that occurs when excess melanin is produced after inflammation, resulting in dark spots or patches. It often follows acne, eczema or injuries, particularly in those with medium to darker skin tones.

PIH is not a true scar but can resemble one due to its lingering discolouration. Skincare for PIH focuses on brightening ingredients like vitamin C, niacinamide and retinoids to reduce pigmentation, while sun protection is essential to prevent spots from darkening. Unlike scars, PIH usually fades over time but can benefit from targeted treatments.
